Area Vibes: Great resource with virtual field trips for students. Areas of study include math, science, English language arts, social studies, art, music, health/pe and foreign languages.

WolframAlpha computational knowledge engine: Don't let the name throw you. This is a site with a search engine that you may input any calculation or something you want to know about and it will give you your results quickly. It has a very strong math engine.

Project Based Learning: Project-based learning is a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems and challenges. Try some of these sites to see what works for you.

Voki: Ideal for young learners. Here you can create animated and speaking avatars using the students own voices or text-to-speech. High Tech High School

Voicethread: Digital storytelling tool for use with students of all ages. They are able to create a digital presentation and the students can comment on each picture by recording their voices, writing text or filming themselves.

EduGlosgter: Online & interactive poster where you can embed text, video, audio, animated graphics, pictures and music. Great way to display information, children's work.

BubbleJoy: Lets you create a video greeting card using your own video. You can choose from different fun card designs that will fit in to your topic.

MoshiMonster: For very young students. Students can adopt their own monster, give it a name and design its color scheme. Monsters can make new friends, chat with others, play games and develop their own personality through its growth. Shidonni is where they can create their own animals and watch them come alive. They will love to show their animals and talk about their pets in English lessons.

Kerpoof: Creative way to tell stories, create animated movies and greeting cards. And it's an introduction to early programming.

StoryBird: Allows students to create their own stories from scratch using their own text and pictures. It's also a collaborating tool so children can start a story at home and you can finish it when they come back to school.

Fotobabble: Way to make photos talk. Just upload a picture, record your voice and publish it.

LetsMove: Encourages and suggests ways students, parents and teachers can be physically active and eat right.

IT'S PROM TIME!! Jr. & Sr. Banquet and Prom is April 24. Pictures are from 6 to 7, banquet from 7 to 8 and dance from 8:30 to midnight.

HAVE YOU GOT TALENT?
Well break it out and enter the GRACEMONT TALENT SHOW on May 7th at 7:00 in the auditorium. Entry fee of $5 solo acts and $10 duets and groups due April 29th.
Cost to attend is $3 per person.
